Trainerdetails

I hold a PhD in political science and I have just started to give MAXQDA workshops. I’ve started to use the program two years ago – first as a coder and then exploring its functions on my own. I participated in ECPR Winter School course on MAXQDA and in numerous webinars online. After gaining experience with my own individual projects and international group projects, I’ve decided to share my expertise with others. I held two workshops. 1st one – 10,5 hours (3 days) for University of Wrocław’s Social Science Faculty researchers and PhD students and the 2nd one – 6 hours (2 days) for a small research group from University of Silesia in Katowice focusing on political communication. During the first one I tried to show how one can use MAXQDA for almost every step of a research and I tried to show many functions, having in mind that researchers from sociology would need different tools than those from political science or European studies. The second one was more content analysis-oriented, however with solid background of the program’s basic functions.

Veröffentlichungen

My PhD thesis, for which I used MAXQDA as my main tool, is currently under reviews with Routledge.
